Karenge Bush Camp is a charming seasonal mid-range facility situated in the northern part of Akagera National Park. It is open for 11 months in a year and closed in April. Karenge translates to “small footprint,” and the camp is named after the place it was first established.
It is set to leave as little impact (carbon footprint) on the environment of where it sets up.

Karenge Bush Camp has 6 twin canvas tents comprised of a private outdoor bathroom and flush toilet for each tent, 2 comfortable beds, solar-powered lighting, warm water is provided, charging points (USB), camp chairs, and more.
