Overlooking Lake Rwanyakazinga, Magashi Lodge is a luxury facility located in the far northern part of Akagera National Park.
It’s the newest Akagera safari accommodation facility in the park, opened in 2019.
Easily accessed via the Nyungwe gate (North gate), which is mainly an exit-only gate for Akagera National Park.

Magashi Camp has 8 tented suites, including tents with double/king-sized beds and tents with twin beds, and room for an additional bed on request. The rooms have ensuite bathrooms, private spacious decks, a mini-bar and safe, mosquito net, and a working space/desk.
