Ruzizi Tented Lodge is a mid-luxury accommodation facility located 6 km from the park’s reception in the southern part of Akagera National Park at the shores of the biggest lake in the park, Lake Ihema, which is also the second biggest lake in Rwanda.
Ruzizi Tented Lodge is operated by the park, and all profits go into conservation programs and initiatives of Akagera National Park.

Ruzizi Tented Lodge has 7 ensuite tents, 1 family tent (2 adults, 2 children), and 1 treetop honeymoon tent.
Each tent is set with camping chairs, shaded verandas, en-suite bathrooms (hot water available), solar-powered, free Wi-Fi, and full board meals.
