Explore Lake Mihindi – Wildlife & Bird-watching in Akagera

Lying at an altitude of approximately 1,282 meters above sea level, Lake Mihindi (Lac Mihindi) is located in the northeastern part of Akagera National Park, close to Tanzania in Eastern Rwanda.

Lake Mihindi is one of the most easily accessible swampy areas within Akagera and it is an ideal lake to visit for visitors with an interest in wildlife that dwells in marshes and papyrus swampy areas.
