Four campsites are available in Akagera National Park for independent travelers who come with their own vehicles. These campsites are shown on the Akagera map.
Tents and firewood are available for rent at the campsites. Tents for the southern campsites can be rented at the Reception. Campers must bring their own food, cooking items, and other supplies.
All activities in Akagera National Park have extra charges, even though the campsites are mainly used by travelers with their own vehicles to experience Akagera safari tours.
Credit card payments are accepted only at the park’s Reception.
